KIKI Cattle Dog Young Female in Boise, Idaho

My story
***NEEDS FUREVER HOME***KIKI is a smart, 2 to 3 year old herding breed (Idaho Shag?) who was lucky to be rescued by FFAR.

For the past 6 weeks, she has been in a loving foster home that includes other dogs and older kids.

She has been a good momma to her 14 babies. As long as she’s with her person, KIKI is content, but she gets bored when left alone.

She will resort to escape plans to keep herself occupied. For this reason, a home with a yard and secure fence is a must for her. KIKI is working on house training.

She lived outside before coming into rescue, so that’s a new skill.

She has made a lot of progress, though.

She would do great with a doggy door. KIKI doesn’t like the crate. She will escape, pretty much at will.

Did I mention how smart she is?

She usually sleeps on her bed in a separate room in her foster home.

She would likely be happier sleeping closer to the family, though—maybe even in a bedroom.KIKI needs a strong, patient person to take charge of her training and help her reach her full potential. Someone who will teach her to play and enjoy life.

She would love to be your constant companion! Having had a taste of love, she now craves it.

A home with no other dogs is best for KIKI, so she can get the attention she so desires.

She would do best if she’s busy, either with a job or as a running companion.Because she’s a herding breed, children over the age of 10 would probably be best.

She does like to round up her humans, and would likely be a little overwhelming for small children.KIKI shows an interest in cats, and chases if they run, so a home without cats or small critters would be best.MORE PHOTOS/VIDEOS:
